I'm 19 years old and I started watching anime when I was around 14-15 years old. ^__^

Here's the story: I was in my second year of High School and had NO friends (I had yet to find a niche), when my twin sister found someone who was a fan of the Final Fantasy game series (we were (and still are to some extent) REALLY into those games back then). We quickly made friends with that person, a girl who we now all know as "Megzie". One day, while I was sitting with Megzie at lunch, another girl I didn't know came up to her and began to talk about this tv show I had never heard of. When I asked what it was, they told me it was an anime (I barely even understood what anime even was...) that was showing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. I learned that this show was about a girl who finds a boy stuck to a tree by an arrow and the boy (who has dog ears) turns out to be a demon. That's ALL I knew! That night my sister and I went to our dad's house and while she was flipping through channels, I saw that same show. I told her to stop, we watched the whole show and both of us fell in love at first sight! Our first anime was InuYasha. Since then, I've grown more and more into a raving geeky fangirl. HECKS YEAH!

Well right now i'm 19 but in october i will be 20... when i start to see anime...well when lither i saw anime but personaly i dont count that as i real experience because i never knew much... so who about said that i start to see it in full version about 3 years i think... (remember i think is better count when u start to have more knowlege about anime that when ur kid ^_^) With the full knowlege i start to see... Love Hina... later Dragon Ball Z... and a lot more... and i keep searching throught the internet to find new anime the see... yeah im so freak... ^_^ so that part of how i start to see the anime that i love so much ^_^

I'm 10 years old, LOL, and i started watching anime since i was in Pre-K or Kindergarden (That wasn't suppose to happend) and my first anime was "Sailor Moon" I acullay liked it and you know whats funny about it, I played SAILOR MOON with my friends like all day but and then i didnt go to that school anymore. And my firstest friend was Sheena, Shiba (Old school firstest friend in the universe).. Hahaha!! thats all you need to know.

I am 13 and turning 14 in October. I started liking Anime when my bigger brother got some Rurouni Kenshin from a friend and while he was out i watched it. It was the BEST the music was good the fighting was good (fight against ShiShiO). Since after that i looked for more episodes and went on to Animes like DBZ.
NOTE: Can anyone tell me where i can get animes without spending all that money (FOR FREE)

Im 19 going to be 20 this January. My first anime was a movie called Princess Mononoke. I was in 6th grade and met my best friend...hmm..I dont remember how though lol. We are still friends though he is in the NAVY right now, going to school and such. I would go over to his house just to watch anime and play videogames. Well anyways im not sure how he found out but we watched it and I got hooked. I think he was already hooked so im not sure what his first was. We have then watched Trigun, Cowboy bebop, Inuyasha, Naruto, Bubblegum crisis, Yu Yu Hakisho, Dragon ball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, Fullmetal Alchemist, FLCL, what else....man...I have seen so many XD Though of course I was not able to go to his house every weekend though pretty darn close so I missed some episodes. I didnt have satilite or cable. Well thats my story

It was mostly those ancient, prehistoric "world masterpiece theater" series by Nippon Animation. stuff like "Lucy of the southern rainbow" , " rascal the raccoon ", " Tico of the seven seas ", " my daddy long legs ", etc. . .but the first anime series that REALLY got me hooked was " Macross 7" and it's American rendition " The Robotech Series". . .absolutely amazing. . .I was about 10 @ that time. and that was it. can't live without it now :P

Ok, I dare say I beat all you guys in age by far. I will be 43 in little over a week. Geez, I'm probably old enough to be mother to some of you! Anyway, I started watching anime when I saw Dragonball Z on Cartoon Network. That was what, 5 or 6 years ago maybe? I have been hooked ever since. I've been watching cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Tom N Jerry since I was little. I'm watching Death Note, Bleach and Code Geass all on Cartoon Network. I even subscribe to Anime Insider magazine.
