Well, I guess the only one I have to defend is a manga called Cafe Kichijouji. Not many people talk about it, which makes me assume not many people know about it. It's a comedy more than anything else about five employees at a cafe called Cafe Kichijouji (naturally). It's a manga based on a series of drama cds and there are only three volumes. What's there to defend? I've NEVER laughed so hard at a manga before Cafe Kichijouji. The crazy antics the guys go through are both believable and fantastical. All the guys are good looking (and as a fangirl, that is a plus...), the art is excellent, and the plotlines are extraordinary (in more ways than one). All the characters are different and are developed very well - from Minagawa the chef who is a master of the occult to Jun the part-timer who looks like a girl and has abnormal super-strength.

i agree with u too. ever since i heard about cafe kichijouji de and saw some scanlations that u had, i thought hey this looks like a pretty interesting manga. one day i saw it in a bookstore and thought 5 hot guys on the cover why the heck not. i found out there where only 3 volumes which for me was a good thing financially speaking. although i know its based off drama cds. i love this manga. its so funny. i love how maki and taro are always bickering. minagawa is so mysterious which makes him even more hotter. i which they made an anime. anyway, i totally am with u on this one. btw i found a website that has some of the drama cds for dl. ofcourse being in japanese i wont understand but i think the host has translations and lists the seiyuus. im thinking on dling some thats until i get a flash drive and store them there.if u want i can give u the website.getting back to the subject, ckd is one of those mangas youll cherish. its short yet sweet. like u said its fantastic.XD

um no the only thhing i do is watch the anime i like on youtube and t.v and read nauto manga at Narutofan.com cus i am not aloud to go to a comic place and get that stuff unless i went with someone cus im to young and cus i have no idea were thw place is lol!

Now it's only a manga with 87 chapters or so released, but come October 3rd, it will be an anime. It's my current favorite manga title, so it deserves a shout-out! Here's a short synopsis:

It takes place in a fictional 18th century England and follows a young man named Allen Walker. There exists in this world a branch of the Catholic church called "the Black Order" - a mysterious sect whose sworn mission is to eradicate monsters called Akuma and their master, The Millenium Earl. The Order is made up of scientists, scouts and, most importantly, excorsists (those that actually fight the Akuma).

Every exorcist becomes such due to their mastery over a strange substance called Innocence that first appeared after the Biblical Great Flood. Those who master Innocence are the only ones who can fight Akuma because Innocence is the only thing that can hurt the monsters. Allen Walker is an excorsist with a unique kind of Innocence. Unlike most people, Allen was born with Innocence imbedded in his left arm (which now appears long, red and deformed). His Innocence is known as the "parasitic type" as opposed to the "item type" and is the strongest and most volitile form Innocence can take because of the symbiotic nature it has with its host.

Allen seeks to bring down the Earl who, years before, had tricked him into turning his adoptive father into an Akuma who, in turn, gave Allen a "cursed" left eye that allows him to see the souls of Akuma.

Why do I like it?

The story itself is really exciting and fun. It been described as something fans of Fullmetal Alchemist will love. I can see what they mean... ^^;
The art is clean and very VERY in line with my tastes. It's been described as "cleaner than normal Shounen manga artwork". And it really is! Sorry Kishimoto-sensei...
The characters are BRILLIANT! You laugh with them, cry with them, and feel for them. Allen Walker, Kanda Yuu, Rinali Li, Komui Li, Rabi, Miranda, Aliester Crowley, Rhode, Tiki, and all the rest, even General Marion Cross and Timcampi! I LOVE THEM ALL!
