why do you love jesus.

I love Him because like you He first loved me and im proud to love Him more than anything or anyone else.Everytime He is there to comfort me no any other friends can do how He does.He is the best of best friends..Even I turn my back to Him and shameful to come back He is still there widely open arms to embrace me..Above all He is always with in me I can feel and hear Him..

i love Jesus too,coz he leads me to his face when i was young,and he prepares a road for me ,save my life,protect me ,and cured my ill...there are so many things that i should thank him.
I don't know how can i live forward without him,he makes my life valuable,and i feel so luchy that i can work for him at church.

hi,lucky.it is really true that i love Jesus and confess his name publicly,i talk abt gospel of Jesus with colleague in my office and anywhere,although most of them don't believe in God,some of them even don't know God,but most of them respect my idea.of course ,i know there are many people may response strongly here,after all,it is a atheism country in China.
so it is difficult to spread gospel for God,please pray for China.most of chinese christains in China believe that there will be bright prospect for gospel here,we are praying this for a long time,hope China may be used by GOD.
We christain youth fellowship in China also have task to spread gospel here,Chinese people becomes more open here and government also respect the freedom of religion if u are not too drastic.
I met other foreigners too here,and they are also very surprise and curious for this,so i want to get u know that it is not the kind of things u imaged for gospel in China than it was before.
Another thing,we really meet difficulties here,especially for our youth christain,we'd like to learn Bible,spread gospel and work for God at church,but most of us often feel very stressful ,coz we need to live for life ,most of us have to give up their good job or find a part-time job,so that we can have time to serve for God at church,like me i work everyday and go to church in the evening and learn Bible or have activity on weekend,but i often feel tired and always feel that there is so few time everyday.
You know that we are ages for marriage,but most of us live not well.we are also planning to set up a company ,so that we can work together and go to church together.
So please pray for us and for China.

I am very glad to have found this discussion because that is what I have been asking myself for the past few days... 'why do I love Jesus??'
Is it becasue of the good things he does for me?? He protects me, he heals me, he provides for me and fills me with peace... Is that the reason to love Jesus?? What if he stopped doing all those things one day... Will we still love him?? Or are we loving him back as a favour, just to show our gratitude to him??? Is my love for him GENUINE???
And then, HOW do we love Him?? How?? Do we think that by ministering unto him, then we have showed our love?? Or is it by obeying him? Do we want to obey him, or do we feel that we hve been cornered by the master and we have no choice but to do what he says??? Oh my friends, loving God is really a matter of setting things right with God...
I would say, that if you love someone say ur bf/gf.. You would love them by sacrificing urself for them.. And how do u do that?? By getting to know who they are... Their strengths, their weaknesses, their passion, their ambition.. That is what I would call LOVE... and that is how I want to LOVE God... To KNOW HIM...
I think we shud ponder on that and do a heart chek on whether or not we truly LOVE the Lord.. Because that is what I have been duin lately and I would love to LOVE Jesus for the right reasons...

Amen i do really agree with you..loving God is like doing a sacrifice to him..just like Abraham did ,when God told him to sacrifce his son Isccah..to really love God we must sacrifice ourselves to him.our desires ,our strength and every being we must live to love him each day of our lives.
