Get The Lord’s Attention – Demonstrate You Faith!
And he said unto her Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague (Mark 5:34).
Mark 5 tells a remarkable story of a woman who suffered from a debilitating disease for twelve long years and had become poor from paying the doctors. Instead of getting better, her condition rather worsened. When she heard of Jesus, her faith came alive and she said to herself, “If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole” (Matthew 9:21). She got to where the Master was and found so many people around Him, a situation that could have made it impossible for her to reach the Master, but she was unmoved. She had resolved in faith to get to the Master, so she went through the press, touched the hem of His garment and was healed!
If you carefully consider this story, you’ll discover the power didn’t originate from Jesus’ clothes; rather, it was transmitted through His clothes. This shows that the miracle happened, not because of what Jesus wore, but because of Jesus Himself. He was the power that healed the woman. The question then is: How did the woman pull out the power from Jesus? How did she get the Lord’s attention? She demonstrated her faith.
Notice the first thing she did was to make a choice; she said to herself: “this is what I’m going to do to get well.” Then, secondly, she singled herself out from the large crowd that followed Jesus, understanding that she has a mission to accomplish. Thirdly, she took a step of faith by touching the hem of the Master’s garment and she was instantly healed.
Get the Lord’ attention today by acting your faith like the woman did. Make a faith-based choice today about that area where you need a miracle. Single yourself out for your miracle by refusing to consider the circumstances or how others in similar situations may have failed. Take a bold step, and your faith will surely prevail for faith always works.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for teaching me the step-by-step principles of faith. I hear to do; and I put these principles to work today, refusing to consider any negative circumstances or feel disadvantaged; rather I single myself out for favour, miracles and blessings today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Luke 7:1-10
Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
2: And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
3: And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
4:And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
5: For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
6:Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
7: Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
8: For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
9: When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
10: And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.
